dbowles1975 25 Posted April 14, 2017 Share Posted April 14, 2017 What image type do I need to add so that the channel icons in the Fire TV app display properly? I'm not talking about the EPG but the individual channel icons in the Live TV section of the app. Right now with only a primary image they do not fit properly. Also, is there any way to change the default icons for channels without metadata displayed in the "On Now" section of the app? Right now it just shows the TV icon with the program name listed below. I'd prefer the look of the web app with the colored icon with the program name in the center or perhaps some other default icon. Is this possible? In one you will notice that the images for the channels do not fit and in the other you'll notice the default TV icons I was referring to. I find those icons really detract from the layout of the app. I'd like to do something different with those if possible. I realize there would normally be metadata there but that's not an option. I understand that. I was just asking if there's a way to change that because I find the images take away from the look of the app's layout. If not, that's fine. Everything else on the screen is displayed with a card layout so it would be quite odd to have these display with text in the middle instead. As for the shape of the channel images in your second screen shot - I think if you bring it back up they will correct.
