Sync to device

I'm trying to sync a file to one of my devices, this one happens to be my iphone 6s. It doesn't show up under the device list. Only one device shows up, which is a for a different user on the system. I'm the admin on the system so not sure if that is why i can see it. Under devices on manage server section there's around a dozen or so devices, 5 of which are cell phones, but none show up as an option to sync media to. How do I add a device to be able to sync media to it? Can I limit who can sync to which device?

Currently sync does not work for iOS. Also there are sync options under each users setting in the dashboard, but I believe it is just to turn sync on or off for that user.

Yes he is correct. You can control user access to the entire sync feature, or user access to an entire device. You can learn more in our wiki articles about users and devices:
