This shows Emby for Android TV running on a MXQ Pro box. (S905x) its running android 6.0 (not TV)

This was on my local lan connected at 100mb. Navigation is fast, loading screens are fast. first test movie was a ripped DVD which has a bit rate of around 3mbps

Second test file was a ripped blu-ray with a bit rate of 36 mbps, mp4 encoded with H264 and 7.1 audio DTS-HDMA. it direct plays.

P.S. sorry for the kids making a noise in the bakground

Not too bad at all. I have a couple of MXQ Pro boxes but to be honest I've never even booted then up with the provided Android OS and flashed them to LibreELEC as soon as they came out of the packaging. Does bitstreaming HD audio and refreshrate switching work?

not tried refresh rate switching but apparently it i supportted. Bitstreaming audio works.

it too me around 1-2 hours to get the box setup and emby installed. for some reason the app store was constantly freezing and had to hard reset it alot. but since getting emby on its been rock solid all day
