Netbug 26
All of a sudden my boxset for The Avengers Collection is not showing up in my Movies Collection nor Movies category of Media Browser. The file structure seems to be correct. I've rescanned the media collection a few times. Running MB Version 3.0.5135.31685 Below is the folder structure. Koleckai Silvestri 1150
Is this a collection from The Movie Database (tmdb.org)? Do you have a collection.xml file in the main folder? Do the individual movies show in the web client?
GhostRider 46
I not sure how to read the folder listing, but it looks like the The Avengers (2012) movie folder is outside the Avengers [boxset] folder. I think the .....[boxset] folder will need either the movie folder or links to the movie folder inside the [boxset] folder to show in the client. Apologies if I have read the listing wrong. Do the individual movies show in the web client? No, it is not a collection from TMDB (there is an "The Avengers Collection" collection, however it contains only The Avengers and The Avengers Age of Ultron). There is no collection.xml file. There was one, it was deleted during troubleshooting. How do I create a new one? The individual movies do not show in the collection any more. Sorry if it wasn't clear, that is just a "tree" command output. All folders are within The Avengers Collection [bOXSET] folder.
Solution Koleckai Silvestri 1150 Posted February 9, 2014 Solution Share Posted February 9, 2014 Create text file called collection.xml. Basic contents would be similar to: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" standalone="yes"?> <Item> <Added>1/7/2014 12:00:00 AM</Added> <LockData>false</LockData> <Type>BoxSet</Type> <LocalTitle>Marvel Super Heroes</LocalTitle> <SortTitle>0004</SortTitle> <DisplayOrder>PremiereDate</DisplayOrder> </Item>

Netbug 26
That seems to have fixed it. I'm not sure what happened to cause the problem in the first place. What is supposed to generate the collection.xml file?
Koleckai Silvestri 1150
Sorttitle is just that the sort title. This would be sorted as 0004 in movie collection so it is towards the beginning. I have Disney Animation, Pixar Animation and Dreamworks Animation as 0001-0003 respectively. Until there are playlists where we can create lists based on studio for the clients, this will have to do.
