When I attempt to play certain television shows or movies through MBC, some of the videos are pixelated and nothing but jagged lines. However, when the same videos are played through VLC, Media Player or MBT, they are fine. It worked fine until I updated about two weeks ago. Also I added MB theatre on the same machine as MBC, could this be causing the issue?. Any help is appreciated. This is a windows 8 machine with media center. the server and client are both on this machine. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ebr 14904 Posted February 8, 2014 Share Posted February 8, 2014 It is a codec problem of some sort. Your installation of MBT also installed LAV which may now be conflicting with whatever other codecs you had installed. I would suggest un-installing all codec packs and just using LAV.
