I was hoping to find a tutorial on how to setup game browser or also what type of controller to use to play the game? Also, where to get the roms, and game files?

Thank you in advance for any helpful replies.

As far as emulators u can get good upto date info and links to emulators from

http://www.emulator-zone.com

As far as the ROMs (games) themselves they are easy enough to find online just do a Google search for torrents or games and u will find plenty of options

Thanks but how do I play them once configured? What do I use for a controller? Does a xbox controller work for this? Or what is recommended?

There are no consoles listed in the left-hand tab. Have you set up the gamebrowser plugin on the server and added a games library to your media collections.

You can use either a keyboard or controller, from my understanding a wired Xbox 360 controller works fine but judging by ur screenshot u might want to consider a USB N64 controller because of the number of buttons on the N64 as opposed to a 360 controller.

But first let's get ur games and emulators up and running before u consider how u plan to play ur games. For starters I suggest creating 2 folders in ur media drive, name the folders "games" and "emulators".

Inside ur games folder create a "N64" folder (1 folder for each system u want to use) go ahead and place ur N64 games into this folder, all in their own individual folders so that u end up with:

(Whatever drive letter):Games/N64/Super Mario 64/Super Mario 64.zip

Now that u have done that for ur games, at least a few to test out go back into the emulators folder u created and also create a N64 folder inside of it. Inside of it unzip ur project64 emulator. I also suggest testing out ur emulator at this point outside of MB to make sure it works and behaves like u want it too. I like to keep an emulators folder to easily find them and back them up if need be.

Now that both ur games and emulators folders are set up open up the MB dashboard and start by clicking on media library, then click + add media library, call it what u want (preferably games) and set the folder type as games. Then click the + on media locations and navigate to ur (media drive):Games folder u created and save it.

Now under the plugins tab (assuming u have downloaded the gamebrowser plugin) go ahead and click on the gamebrowser plugin. Now click platform configuration. Select N64 and navigate to ur (Media drive):Games/N64 folder and hit save. Do the same for all different games systems. That's it for the server side of the setup.

I've only set up gmebrowser for MBClassic so maybe someone else can guide u on MBTheater setup. For MBClassic open up the classic configurator and go over to the plug-ins tab, download the game browser plugin if u haven't already then click the configure button. You should see a list of systems on the left side. Click on the N64 and on the right side navigate to Emulators/N64/Project64.exe

Now that the server knows where the games are and MBClassic knows where the emulator is go ahead and open MBClassic and test out a game. Once everything is running open up the settings on the Project64 emulator and find a setting to start in full screen and turn it on if it doesn't already, also play around with the controller settings to use whatever controller u want. Ur 360 controller will work for most systems but for systems like N64 I suggest getting a USB N64 controller from a site like thinkgeek

Hope that helps u get up and running

Lets just recap and make sure you have completed all the steps. Have you done all of the below:

1 - Installed the gamebrowser server plugin

2 - Added your games folder e.g. 'E:\Games' to your media library. Make sure each system has its own folder and that each game has its own folder inside the system as below:

3 - Configured your game systems in the gamebrowser server plugin as below:

4 - Installed the gamebrowser plugin for MBC

5 - Added the locations of your specific emulators in the Media Browser Classic Configurator as below:

If you have done all of the above, it might be worth posting a screenshot of your folder structure so we can make sure it is set up correctly.
