Listing Document Files

QNAP TS-251

QTS V4.2.3

Emby Version 3.2.5.0

Mono: 4.4.2 (Stable 4.4.2.11/f72fe45)

 

I am probably missing something basic, but I cannot get Emby to show directory contents of document files.

 

I have selected "Books" as the folder type, but .epub, .mobi, .pdf and other documents do not show up. I have also tried "Unset" because I also have .jpg, .opf, and other mixed multimedia files, but they still do not show up.

 

What am I missing?

[edit] Anyone?! And I cannot get normal .jpg image files to show up either. This seems to be something pretty basic...

Hi @@MontyJ, those file extensions are all supported using Books as the content type. Please try again with that.

I have attached the folder/file structure for the folder in question. Movies, videos, and audio books show up and display, but no documents of any kind.

 

I ran a small test and created a new folder as follows:

[/share/Backups/Test] # ls -lR

The cover.jpg shows up as the containing 'Folder', but the Mars .jpg does not show up.

Until Ashlyn - Aurora Rose Reynolds (.mobi)

 

The attached files show the full file/folder structure of the collection that does not show any files. Folders are there but no files.
