Lonald 9
Hi all, I am having trouble playing The Magnificent 7 on my XBox One S. The movie plays on the PC where Emby Server is installed, but freezes on the XBox just prior to the movie starting (shows a splash screen image of the movie). Other movies are playing just fine (specifically Blu-Ray movies). Attached are logs from the server and the ffmpeg. Thanks! Luke 37051
hi @@Lonald, try refreshing that title from the detail screen to see if it pulls in more media info, then try to play again. thanks.
Lonald 9
Hi, While I now see a "resume" button, the movie still hangs at the splash screen when I try either resume or play. Rebooting the XBox did not help. Lon

Luke 37051
Thanks, I see an issue that will cause a playback failure. Keep in mind, even once I correct this, you are trying to have the server transcode a folder rip and we only consider that experimental. For the best, most stable results you'll want to consider converting to video files.
Lonald 9
Ok, sounds interesting. I have tried transcoding some dvd's to mkv in the past, but not blu-rays. I converted the movie to lossless mkv and while it initially played, it subsequently stopped when I turned off the subtitles and now will not play again. BTW, the mkv playback was not entirely smooth and not quite the quality of the original. Thanks! Luke 37051
What do you mean won't play again?
Lonald 9
Wait, it took several minutes of digestion and the mkv started playing! Lon
