itdaboyz 1 Posted February 19, 2017 Share Posted February 19, 2017 Hello, Here is my config at the moment : - Emby Server is on Asustor AS302T NAS. - Kodi with Emby for Kodi is on Rasberry Pi 2. It's usually working and sometimes sync drop and I have to reboot NAS, rPi and do a total resync on Kodi. Not the best so... And it's really slow when I try to access Emby via my phone. I'm thinking about dropping Emby server on my NAS and put everything on rPi to have something more stable. What do you think would be the best ? 1) Rasbian with Emby server and Kodi with Emby for Kodi 2) Rasbian with docker, Emby server for Docker and Kodi with Emby for Kodi 3) Rasbian with Emby server and Emby Theater 4) Rasbian with docker, Emby server for Docker and Emby Theater 5) Keep the NAS for the server Thank you! Emby server is installed correctly (I had a lot of crash because of Anime plugin but now it seems ok) with this media paths : Animes /mnt/media/Animes Films /mnt/media/Films Musique /mnt/music Séries /mnt/media/Séries /mnt/media and /mnt/music are NFS mount of my NAS. I granted the right to access it and I can browse the folders on my pi without any problem.I'm not sure if I need path substitution. I tryed nfs://192.168.1.20/volume1/mnt/media/Séries for example and end up with the same result : can't get direct play. To increase likelihood of direct play, ensure that the media is shared over your network and that in Emby library setup you've filled out the optional network path for each library folder. let us know if this helps. thanks. For exemple, the ones with AC3 or DTS audio won't direct play, like this one : http://paste.awesom.eu/SNxg or this one http://paste.awesom.eu/WQ9y I tried Emby Theater on my windows computer and it works for all files. Is there something I need to do to have these files in direct play on the pi ? Side question : Is it possible to define multiple optional path ? I would like to access my files from outside my network so \\NAS\media\Films won't work but MYIP/media/Films could. But in my network I want to stay on lan.
