gothamkid 0
I have an old HP Windows Media Center server with an Intel 2 GHz processor and 4GB RAM with 3 external drives totaling about 7TB of media. I want to be able to support up to 4 internal connections on my network, either DLNA TVs or Blu-Ray players and the iPad client. I can do this today but there is a big lag on the libraries loading and I often have to make 2-3 login attempts before I can get to my library and filter/search, often taking 10-15 minutes. This is worse if I am doing anything else on the server, like ripping media and converting it to MP4. Any recommendations? I'm looking for the least expensive options, and I am not a hardware guy by nature.

Could even go cheaper on the RAM since Emby doesn't need nearly that much. Edited February 18, 2017 by mastrmind11
