Resume and play from chapter not working

When i try to go to a certain point in a episode or movie and play from that point it returns to the start of the video.

Has only been happening the last week or 2.

Anyone else having this problem?

yep...this is happening to me too.  The movie immediately resumes without asking if I want to resume or start over.  Been looking everywhere thinking I changed something.

Also, when going into a different view (like a specific genre) it lists all the movies like it would if through the web interface.

Those are two thing I have noticed in the last couple weeks.

This sounds like the exact opposite of this issue

I see now I read that wrong...but mine doesn't ask if I want to resume...it just assumes.   So while it is the "opposite", timeframe aligns for something getting messed up with the same function.

If I start watching something, pause halfway through and start watching something else. I can't resume the first show from where I paused it. Only happens on Theatre, works fine on Chromecast.

Thanks I will add the dedicated resume button to the Theater detail screen to make it consistent with the other apps.

It doesn't like it when I try to jump ahead either, with the remote or using the emby app as a remote. It goes back to the start again.

This was working great as of 2 weeks ago. It would give you a popup to Start from Beginning or Resume from xx:xx. I found this to be super handy, it was clean and always asked what you wanted to do.

I use the Emby Theater program (Not Windows APP), and I presume it was broken with a previous update somehow.

I experienced the same as reported yesterday.  Was watching a moviue and have to stop for a while.  Came back and used the resume button on the detail screen of the movie.  Movie began playing at the start.  INterestingly the progress bar was showing the proper position.

Also tried to go back to watch a short scene after the credits and was unable to get it to do so.  WHen I skipped back or used the mouse to try and back up, the movie would start again at the begining.  The ended up with me watching the first bit of the movie with the progress bar showing 1:52:xx of 1:50:xx.  Ended up having to go and watch that scene outside of ET with another player

Was a dedicated resume button ever added to ET? I can never get any show/movie to allow me to resume plackback. No prompts and no dedicated button in version 3.0.0 of ET.
