Unable to install the application on Samsung smart TV from IP: 82.27.106.58

Issue description:
@@SamES I am in Belgium and I have a Samsung SmartTV UE55D80000, I followed all your instructions but I can not install the application, the TV shows me a message "Network or server interference occured. Please try again later. ".

Yet IP address 82.27.106.58 answers when I ping from my computer. And I know this is not a problem with my TV or my internet connection since I installed the Plex application by following the same procedure.

Can you help me ?

My TV/HTS/BD Player model number:
Samsung SmartTV UE55D80000

My firmware version:
T-GAP8DEUC-1033.2

Other TVs etc. the issue has been reproduced on:

My Emby server version:
Version 3.2.0.0

My current Emby Samsung client version:
Not yet installed!

Other Emby Samsung versions the issue can be reproduced in:
I did not find another, I saw that it was possible to install it via USB by downloading a ZIP but I did not find it.

Sorry to hear about your troubles.

 

Referring to this post, https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/31056-2011-d-series-support-ending/ support for D-Series is now limited and is not supported by the current version of the application.

 

As only one version of the app can be hosted on a server, @hcjake graciously offered to host the D-series version on his own server.  This was his address 82.27.106.58, but you are right, it no longer appears to be hosting the app.  If it is correctly hosted you should be able to at least access the widgetlist profile via this address  http://http://82.27.106.58/widgetlist.xml

 

It is possible that his server IP address has changed, in which case we will need to update the install instructions with his new IP.

 

Alternatively, @@hcjake may no longer be hosting this app.  In this case, it may be possible to supply a copy of the package file which you might be able to install via USB, or alternatively (and probably the better option) you host internally for yourself on a personal webserver.

Could you guys put the D series ZIP on github ?

 

I still have an old D series Samsung in use but I don't have a copy to reload (via USB or internal Webserver) should I ever need to ..

PS: No problem can be posted on this repo, it is only a storage location for the provision of the file.

I'd like to give a try to Emby beta with LiveTV (I use Samsung of H-series), but 82.27.106.56 no longer hosts the app.

Is there new beta IP or, maybe, you can share the ZIP file?

It's not beta - that version of app does not support LiveTV. As far as I know, such functionality is available only in beta.

There isn't currently a BETA.

 

v2.2.2 is the latest.

 

I think Live TV has been removed, as it's not in that version.

 

Hopefully @@FrostByte can comment, as he's more upto date with the app than me.
