Not sure how long ago those links were checked but I suspected the first one I tried would be wrong. I use DVD Fab and a while ago they changed to www.dvdfab.cn from .com

That is a REALLY complex guide to something that can done pretty easily.

  1. Install MakeMKV/DVDFab/AnyDVD
  2. Rip content to MKV files
  3. Pass through Handbrake to save space if desired
  4. Name files to match Emby's naming expectations
  5. Drop in appropriate library folder

Most of these tools are ancient. I don't know if you would need anything besides MakeMKV and Handbrake.

I'll check that out.  I've split them apart as steps because ripping is usually a lot faster than encoding.

I use those, cause after all the process complete in Dvd flick,it automatically opens imageburn and writes it to disc. Just makes everything one step.

Personally, from a dvd or bluray source, I just use Handbrake, set it to export as a .mp4 and I'm done.

About 1% of source will throw a copy protection curve ball at Handbrake and require additional work.

Agreed the OP posted an impressive toolbox.
