Lamski 0 Posted February 1, 2014 Share Posted February 1, 2014 I have been using the Android client for a while since early Beta and has worked ok for the most part. I haven't use it much recently and saw that it had an update so I wanted to try it out to see if it would do better on streaming WTV files over 4G then it has previously. While testing it out I was experiencing stops every few seconds to buffer. I also noticed the picture quality was very good... like full bitrate quality. I knew something wasn't right so I went to settings and checked the bitrate and it was set at 1Mb/s. I selected the lowest bitrate (250kb/s) in both "Wi-Fi" as well as "Cellular 4G". I tried playing media again and it was still buffering and the quality was very high so I know the selection is having no effect on my phone. Is this a known issue right now or am I the only one?
