Regarding no.1

 

If a show is auto approved (user has the auto approve permission or is an admin) then it will use the default in the settings page.

 

If you have to manually approve there is a button that you can change the path before approving it.

 

This is not been added for Radarr yet. That will be next on my list

 

Ahh ok that makes sense.  I've been auto approving.  Any chance we can let the end user decide? If not, I get it.

So that error is when I look for a IMDB or TvDB Id from Emby, it doesn't exist.

 

So for those items are you sure they are matched up correctly and have the correct metadata?

Can you skip those and still let the newsletter send?  I have the same issue with only 6 non-provider ID capable movies. For now, it's a fatal error for the newsletter.

It should just skip them. If it's not then there is probably a bug somewhere. I'll take a look.

Regarding the logo, I can add a setting for you to supply your own logo if you want?

 

That would be a great option to have for both the request/issue emails and the newsletter use your own art for logo.

 

Here are a few things I noticed, figure screenshots would help.

 

1. When going to the TV show requests area, the green button reads Available on Plex, it doesn't appear to do this anywhere else in OMBI just the tv shows request page.

 

 

 

2. When using the search suggestions drop down for movies, like in theaters, these movies have already been requested by myself or other users on OMBI but the request option is still available.

 

 

 

3. When using the search suggestions drop down for tv, like popular shows I'm getting the pending approval, and for example breaking bad not requested yet. Now I dont keep everything in my sonarr library when a show has ended, it is removed from sonarr. If i search for any of the 3 shows listed in the screenshot, it reports them as Available.

 

 

4. I also experienced the newsletter process where it says must be viewed in html. I do have a few items that I remove the id on after they are first filled in. For example, my star wars collection original cuts I have removed the id fields after its all filled in with info and art. I also noticed OMBI trying to scan live tv channels and if a user has a photo library or personal home videos, not sure those libraries wouldnt be causing havoc on the newsletter feature as well.

Well it appears to do that when I do the search for breaking bad, its available but when using the drop down suggestion choices in search, like popular tv shows or trending I'm thinking this is looking at Sonarr instead of Emby.

Well it appears to do that when I do the search for breaking bad, its available but when using the drop down suggestion choices in search, like popular tv shows or trending I'm thinking this is looking at Sonarr instead of Emby.

 

Isn't Popular TV Shows and/or Trending TV Shows populated from IMDB/TVDB etc. ??

For the setup, when you enter server, port, and API key there should be some input validation to ensure the user actually puts in a port.  Else it just spins and spins =)

Thanks! I spent 15 minutes wondering what I was going wrong. That's my IP, that's my port, that's my API, why the hell won't it connect! Turns out that port was just a picture of my port number! LOL

I had the same issue when I first set it up! I thought the port was filled in for me because the text was so dark.

Haha I would love to work on one of my projects as a full-time job! 

 

But with a mortgage, a 3-month-old baby it's unrealistic, so still a software dev for a finance company for now!

Guys, what settings are recommended? Early access preview, dev, stable? Or is this version the most recent Ombi for Emby https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/44267-ombi-for-emby/&do=findComment&comment=414788 ?

 

Reason is that Ombi shows me an update in EAP branch. Is it safe to update to 2.1.1393? And can I download from within the website?
