Ok, so I still need port forwarding, which apparently my router wasn't designed to do....

Then I might as well give up. My provider doesn't know anything about this stuff and even if they did, I wouldn't know how to explain this to them - in Danish no less...

So I guess I'm going back to just having my media library at home... :(

What is the router brand and model?  Your ISP knows all about routing and port forwarding.  I know every country is different but here we still have access to configure the router.

It's a Technicolor TG778vn

I got it through my internet service provider, but I was never provided with a password or a username, unless...Should I use my network name and wireless key?

I ran a search on my model's name and "configuration" and, surprisingly, a page from the homepage of my internet provider turned up, telling me exactly how I would make port forwarding changes to my router.

So I'll be trying this next.

I'll let you know how it goes :-)
