Allan Cameron 40
The home video part of my library is very important to me so I have a few questions regarding it with the new client. When entering my home video library I am presented with landscape images which are in fact folders. Then when entering each folder I am presented with portrait images for posters. As of now my custom artwork is correct on the server but different layout on this new cliet. I like what you have done and I am willing to edit my artwork to suit the new layout choice. My main concern is I do not want to go through all that work to find out it is going to be changed again. So my question is is this layout going to remain the way they are for home video and this new client? If you are going to keep that layout will make the custom edits. Just need to know before I put the effort in. Edited January 12, 2017 by a1b2c3
ebr 14910
Probably... The challenge with this interface is that all the items in a particular row or grid have to be the same size/shape so that makes it difficult to always predict what the best fit is. Allan Cameron 40
Would it not be possible to follow the layout of the server for home video? The folders posters are portrait and the posters for titles are landscape. That is how I have my artwork right now which is correct for the server at least. If you can match it up that would be fantastic and totally makes sense. Essentially you would just be reversing what you've already done. ebr 14910
The problem is that the structure is free-form. That first level could be folders or videos or both...
