johndow 0
I have a local emby server on my nas and an external emby server on my remote server. Is there any way to connect to these 2 servers simultaneously, either at server side or at the Emby Kodi App? Cheers
Jdiesel 1113
You should be able to create a profile in Kodi that would allow you to switch between two different Emby configs easily. You can even map profile switching to a remote button if you'd like. Not exactly what you were looking for but probably the easiest way. Otherwise is it possible to mount your remote folders to NAS and have Emby server on the NAS treat both the local drives and the remote drives as a single library? johndow 0
Thanks for your reply, yes I have tried what you suggest in the past, the problem with that is the amount of tine it takes for the remote library to sync with the local library. I used ftp as the connection format, not sure if there is a better way of doing it which speeds up the sync process.
Vidman 589
I believe angelblue is working on this as a new feature for the emby for kodi addon Ie adding another server on the same profile with the caveat that the added server will be accessed dynamically like the original add-on , rather than syncing the databases You can up vote the feature request on the emby for kodi trello board Edited December 23, 2016 by Vidman
