bikermiker 0
My photo library will not show the photos. There are home videos mixed in with the photos (direct download from phone folder) and I can view the videos through the Photo library but not the photos. The Library is set to photos and nothing else. I can't see them on any device or web interface but the thumbnail for the photo folder is made of photos that I can't see oddly enough. russpurg 0
I'm having the same issue. I thought it was because of the type of library that I was choosing, but it's not. My original library is setup as a "Home Videos and Photos" type. As a test, I setup a "Unset (Mixed Content)" and a simple "Photos" types. Both tests pointing to the same Synology network share (/Volume1/Share/........). I have 35 photos in this directory. However only 10 show up. The were mostly shot with the same cellphone, so differing resolutions is not the issue. Is this an issue with Emby or my NAS. I just bought this NAS this week and came home to set it up and I tried a lot of media server products and Emby had the best feature set. However, I can't use it if it won't show me all my photos. I haven't even touched on the video issue...but needless to say that it does the same thing. I have version 3.0.8500.0 of the emby server and a Synology NAS DS916+. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening. Just for kicks, here is what my test library setup looks like: Edited December 17, 2016 by russpurg

bikermiker 0
So I updated to 3.2.1.0-1 a few days ago. I wiped my photo library and configured a new one. I'm still having the issue where I only see videos and no photos. Log

Solution bikermiker 0 Posted February 17, 2017 Author Solution Share Posted February 17, 2017 (edited) Good news. One of my hard drives blew up. I then accidentally corrupted my good drive causing me to completely wipe and renew with a backup. But it works now! So videos are in the library too. Is that normal? Luke 37057
if the folder structure is different from before than that could explain it. glad it is working.
bikermiker 0
if the folder structure is different from before than that could explain it. glad it is working. The folder structure and names are exactly the same as before. Had to be something else. I do see videos in the library mixed with the photos. I guess this is normal as there is a checkbox that says "Photos will be detected and displayed alongside other media files". Why is it set up to display video content in a library for photos? Luke 37057
because users often mix the two together and then think something is wrong when they don't see their videos.
