mangis 10
Hey Guys Is there a way to change the refresh rate on the external IP for emby connect ? I am in an area where a lot of work is going on and my connection drops a lot, sometime 9 - 10 times a days. Is there a way to refresh the IP address with emby connect more often ? If not I can always use the web interface as Windows Server 2012r2 seems to pick it up within 5 minutes but I prefer using the apps and the W.A.F isn't there for having to change methods of using the server. Luke 37008
It's currently every hour. Is that really not often enough?
mangis 10
Normally it would be. Sometimes I'm dropping out multiple times an hour - I know it's my issue an nothing to do with Emby. Is there a config file I could change to make it more often until the works around my area are complete ? I understand is an isolated kind of request so if it's not something that can be altered no problems.
NemesisZeRo 7
You could always use a dynamic DNS service, like no-ip.com, it's free and you can select how often it updated the IP Skickat från min SM-J500FN via Tapatalk
Solution Luke 37008 Posted December 11, 2016 Solution Share Posted December 11, 2016 There is currently no setting to control this. The only thing guaranteed to have it update is restarting the server. We should probably have it trigger based on network events in addition to the hourly schedule.
mangis 10
Cheers mate. Will just have to get used to it until they get the area sorted. Thanks
