ebr 14863
If the version in Google Drive is playable by the device requesting it, that is what will be played. So, which of those choices depends on how the item was converted during the sync (the option chosen).
gsites 14
Oh, okay, I understand after your explanation. Is there any way to leave only one quality to reproduce the media? For example, 720p 2mb?I see that media has 1080p 4mb, and appears the option to play in 1080p 10mb ?Understood? Thanks again!
ebr 14863
The options you see in the player are what the player will request and are not dependent on any particular media. So, if the player is requesting 10Mb/s but the media is encoded at 2, then you are just going to get 2. Make sense?
gsites 14
Oh, I'm better understanding with you explaining. So, even if the person puts it to reproduce in 1080p 10mb, but if the media is only in the format of 720p 2mb, will the emby server not suffer with the computer? That is, will not force to transcode?I am very pleased with your help, thank you always for helping to explain this wonderful that is EMBY.Thank you again! Solution ebr 14863 Posted November 16, 2016 Solution Share Posted November 16, 2016 Correct, we don't ever attempt to upconvert so all of those types of settings are max values.
