I recognized you removed the "yesterday" section from the upcoming tv shows tab, guess you did it because of the problem I described here...?

Unfortunately this doesn't change anything, Kodi still syncs the shows aired yesterday on every library scan.

I have not been able to look at this yet, sorry. In the meantime, why not check out EmbyCon? It is a new addon for Kodi that doesn't require any syncing:

Sorry but this is a very disappointing answer. I reported this little bug three months ago, and now I'm being told to use something completely different.
