HTPCity_Planner 13
Weird thing happening in MBC. I'm getting two posters showing up in just my TV Series, in both the EHS view and when I click on the TV Series tab. It's only doing it for some of my TV Series, not all, the ones from one specific drive. I attached a screen shot for reference.
Luke 37060
let's take MBC out of the equation and debug using the web interface. show us what you see there.

Logos302 86
Logon to the web page of the server. Then click on the metabrowser word at the top left of the windows. This should take you to the web view that luke is talking about. Luke just wants to figure out if it's MBS issue or a MBC issue and this is a quick way to test this. If it's a MBC issue you will not see it on the web view. if it's a MBS issue you will.
chef 3745
Sometimes if you use an automatic file sorter like meta browser, it will copy a file from a download folder, and rename it. When you refresh the sorting app will accidentally copy the same file again, because it had renamed the first one. It is rare but it does happen. Luke 37060
so you have two series. now you should go to the edit page for both entries and see what paths they point to.
Solution HTPCity_Planner 13 Posted January 21, 2014 Author Solution Share Posted January 21, 2014 (edited) OK gotcha. yep, one is pointing to a local path (incorrect), the other is pointing to the correct path (network) in all instances. How do I delete the wrong one? I think I figured it out. When I setup my TV Series, somehow I entered a local path incorrectly in the setup. I removed that just now.. SirBobLXIX 0
I am having this issue, but I have two separate hard drives with the same show (just different episodes/seasons). Example: t:\TV 01\ has seasons 1-11 t:\TV 02\ has seasons 12-13 The show ID and other meta is identical, just the location. Is there any way to combine these in Emby? Vidman 589
Not at this time... And the devs have very little interest in supporting it, they suggest using drive polling if you can't fit all episodes of a series on the same drive

And the devs have very little interest in supporting it, they suggest using drive polling if you can't fit all episodes of a series on the same drive Wow, that is a disappointing stance from the devs. One more reason I can't justify switching from Plex. Thank you for quick response. I really appreciate it, even if it isn't what I want to hear.
ebr 14911
It isn't that we have no interest - it is that it is needed only by a very small subset of users and there are easy ways around the issue so it doesn't warrant us taking time away from things that many more people want/need.
