I noticed last night that my computer was clogged with a lot of temporary files - they are related to videos and have the extension .mbtree - not aware of this extension - is this related to Emby at all?

appears to be related to encoding video files - mainly dvd's - have you ripped any in the recent past

yeah - that's what I googled as well - yes I have been ripping some of my music videos, and I see some of these in the mbtree temp files, but there is something like 70Gb of .mbtree files in there (masses of files on my 250Gb SDD) and I was wondering if it was related to emby production of thumbnails for video files...

user/appdata/local/temp has lots of rubbish but no mbtree files

possibly its the v2v thats created them?

Definitely in the following location:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Temp

maybe it is v2v causing it - just seemed strange they were called mbtree...
