tre4b 3
But first please tell me how to get to the logs because I cannot find a way to access them and all you will do is tell me to send you the logs! I use the QNAP version of this and the Paths section tells me the logs are at Logs:/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/Emby/Emby/ProgramData-Server/logs The problem I have is that I have no way of finding this through any of the shares etc. Presumably this is embedded in the install and because the paths list above is just text and not a Link I cannot get there. I still think it would be really worthwhile for you to add a "Send Logs" button somewhere that packages up the logs for reporting to you. In the long run would probably save you lots of help requests with too little information. Essentially though I am dying to try the new Pause functionality but Live TV just does not stream. The web app just goes around forever and the amazon app says unable to stream media a few times then stops trying. The HDHomerun logs suggest it is streaming and yet the logs are next to useless. I am suspicious that the HDHR is not working correctly because I've always had a finiky live TV experience. My problem is proving that! I'm going to try the thing with a new cable in a different network port and see if that works better. In the meantime if you could help me clear up the above so I can help you help me more I'd be appreciative.
mastrmind11 717
Why can't you ssh into the qnap box and get the logs that way?
Luke 36887
You can get log files using the Emby server dashboard. Just click on Logs
tre4b 3
Hi Admin, I did that and looked at the logs thinking these really don't tell me much. Now I realise I was looking at the filenames of the log files!!! Doh! Okay the pertinent log file is here. https://1drv.ms/t/s!AgggzSx2w9RQpJM6ptarLVbJfM-iMQ Transcoding log https://1drv.ms/t/s!AgggzSx2w9RQpJNohHgQAdRi-8Ecmg Hopefully from these you can help. Sorry for being a dumb arse!

tre4b 3
Weird. Could this be something unique in the Qnap build? I use the 32bit version with none of the media options as it seems to be most stable.
tre4b 3
Just noted a release of 8300 for Qnap. I loaded that up and the web version of Live TV is working again. I will try the Fire TV one later. Really looking forward to pause rewind :-)
