madlan 0
Hi, Is it possible to set the desktop theater app as always on top (of other windows)? Thanks.
Luke 37008
In fullscreen mode it is always on top.
madlan 0
Ahh sorry, I meant windowed - I use "always on top" for Windows Media Player while working with documents\coding etc - quite handy not worrying about overlapping the player while moving. Do you have a features request threat for the theater player? Making the desktop mode re-sizeable while playing would be great, in addition to utilising the windows snap assist feature. (That's about all I miss from WMP).
Guest asrequested
I don't have use of the 'always on top' feature, but resizing while playing would be very nice. Edited October 7, 2016 by Doofus
Luke 37008
You're not going to be able to resize while playing video because transparent windows are not resizable. I haven't' looked into whether this is a windows or chromium limitation, either way it's out of our control. Because of the tricks that we're doing with the traditional desktop app, snap mode might be difficult as well, however I'm sure the UWP version in the windows store can accommodate both of these things: https://emby.media/emby-theater-xboxone.html
