Guest
If I select Reclock as audio renderer, it doesn't seem to be working, I had a look in the logs and it says this: 2016-09-30 06:55:26.9947 Error InternalDirectShowPlayer: Error adding reclock filter Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {9DC15360-914C-46B8-B9DF-BFE67FD36C6A} failed due to the following error: 80040154 Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)). System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException at Emby.Theater.DirectShow.DirectShowPlayer.RenderStreams(IBaseFilter pSource, String videoRenderer, Boolean enableXySubFilter) I searched the wiki - and there were no entries. Do I need to install reclock on the system separately first for it to work with ET? thanks lisa

Luke 37060
Yes we need to improve documentation here, but it is an advanced feature that not everyone needs so we don't bundle it into the app. Thanks.
Guest
Thanks, I seem to have it configured now, need to test it for a few days to see if it is doing it's job properly, that is keeping audio and video in sync and ensuring smooth playback with no dropped frames. There is an issue with its implementation in ET. I had to disable the auto AV sync correction setting in LAV audio. The only way i could achieve this and make it stick was to edit the directshowplayer xml file in C:\Users\lisa\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Theater\config. This isn't very user friendly, and also, will I have to re-edit it every time ET is auto updated? thanks lisa Edited October 2, 2016 by Guest

Guest
Grr.. started off well, but 15 mins into the film, the audio / video sync has drifted apart. There are a few more settings I could try.
