Losing Https Need to restart service

Hi,

The same as the below but in windows.

https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/31089-emby-server-https-stops-responding/

This happens regularly where i cant get to the https port using either internal or external addresses.

As soon as i restart the service it comes back.

Is this a known issue? Next time i notice i will try to get a log.

Thanks

I've had this issue forever but never posted about it.

HTTP continues to work fine but HTTPS is broken until I reboot.

It doesn't happen constantly but definitely more than I'd like.  I didn't think the logs would be all that helpful because it doesnt seem like the connection is even being recognized by the server.

The answer is that the mono runtime used by the server currently only supports up to TLS 1.0, and for some devices that need TLS 1.2 this may cause a problem.

The recently released mono 4.6 now supports TLS 1.2, and we will begin testing that soon:

Thanks.

So is the current answer that you cannot seek through the app when connecting externally through HTTPS because of TLS 1.0 and the android app requires 1.2; and you will begin testing TLS 1.2 on the server end which will fix the android problem in the future? Just trying to grasp this in simpler terms.
