We don't watch alot of movies during the summer so I don't know what version this started at. But all of the sudden I can not watch BluRay Folder rips in theater anymore. Every 30 seconds or so their is color banding artifacts going across part of the screen, reminds me of an old VHS tape with a bad spot on it. Multiple movies do this, and all play fine using TMT.

I have ben trying to fix this and getting nowhere. Both TMT3 and TMT5 play with know issues. But Emby Theatre I get artifacts like in the picture a attached(sorry crappy picture). I have tried EVR, EVR+, and MadVR and the all have the same glitches in the same spots on movies.

Well I think I have figured this out after some more testing. It has to do with hardware acceleration. It has always been set to auto and has worked fine, but that doesn't work anymore. If I set it to None or Intel Quick Sync it works fine, but if I put it on DXVA2CopyBack I get these artifacts and jumpy play. So I default it is defaulting to DXVA2CopyBack (I don't even know what that is).

Also I have noticed that the Server says that when I play a movie that it is transcoding it?? The server and player are on the same machine so their should not be any transcoding going on correct, I am getting HiDef audio which I would think you would loose if it is transcoding.
