Uroth 0
Hello, I have noticed that in the latest releases my server is having issues identifying the movies, defaulting to IMDB which adds almost no info for my new movies added to the server, lacking good posters, banners and backdrops. When I search up the ID on themoviedb and then try to identify the movie in Emby I sometimes have to search 5-30 times for it to actually find the movie. I can browse https://www.themoviedb.org/ without any issues so I am not IP blocked/throttled. Under Metadata downloaders TheMovieDB is highest on the list. Anyone else having this issue? Example: The Nice guys got identified correctly, but not by themoviedb so no additional info is added. Movie only found by IMDB: Should look like this, after I had to manually identify the movie (Took 5 tries this time): Log.txt Edited September 11, 2016 by Uroth

Luke 37022
I would try it again. The requested was aborted internally by Emby Server due to taking longer than 20 seconds.
Uroth 0
Thanks for looking into it. This isn't just one movie that it happens for. It is random, and sometimes I have to try and manually identify the movies with the correct ID 20+ times with the result screen just going being blank not finding the movie almost immediately. Happy2Play 8252
Well there website has absolutely nothing to do with their api. So just because their website works doesn't mean their api is working properly.

Does your media come with any nfo files? Emby does not get any information from IMDB, the IMDB number actually comes from TMDB or OMDB.
Uroth 0
No, no nfo files with my media when I add them. The only nfo files I use are the ones created by Emby after it adds and identify the movies.
Uroth 0
I still have the problem with Emby not finding any results when I try to identify with themovieDB ID. What could be causing this? Problems with the API? Anyone else been having these issues? Log.txt Edited September 17, 2016 by Uroth
Guest asrequested
I always use media center master, first. It cleans up, renames etc.
