leforban 1
Hi ! I'm running Emby server (latest version 3.1.127 as i'm writing this post) on my Synology DS414j . I restarted my NAS and the Emby server a few times but it looks like Emby has never been able to complete the scan. I have a fairly large movie collection (3700) and a few TV shows (which btw are not automatically recognized ). Could you please tell me what's blocking the scan ? Hope I attached the right log file Thanks ! server-63608062344.txt
Luke 36887
Hi, the scan seems to be moving so as far as I can tell it's not stuck. I would just be patient. Thanks.
solabc16 379
Hello @@leforban I've just sent you a PM, giving you access to the beta release of the Emby supported package for your platform. Best - James
leforban 1
Thx ! I've seen your message I went back to SQL library for now. I feel like my entry level NAS is to slow to properly handle Emby. I'll come back to Emby when i'll upgrade to a more powerfull server
solabc16 379
Hello @@leforban If you do have a spare moment, do take it for a test drive, we've had good feedback from the Marvell based Synology platforms. (which are also ARMv7 based) Of course, any serious transcoding is likely out of the question. However, with direct play support possible for a number of popular configurations, this should be the prime objective for any setup.
