Network Status Page

So I've been searching for a good status page for my home server - something that would display the status of all my services, and show some general information. In my searching, I came across something called 'NetworkStatusPage' on github that looks really cool (check it out below).

The problem is that it was coded around Plex, and not Emby. But it got me wondering - would it be possible to get this reworked for Emby fairly easily? I'm also noticing that most of the solutions on github are for OSX and Linux only, but it would be great to see this work on Windows as well (just from a selfish perspective since I'm on Windows).

I'm unfortunately not a programmer, but I figured I'd post it here in case others who are might be interested in taking a crack at modifying this for use with Emby. I plan to keep poking around with it, so any helping hands are welcome too! Maybe a few of us could try to work on it?

What would be perfect is if a copy of this could be made that could center itself around Emby and work with Windows, OSX, and Linux. And maybe even be restructured in a way so that all user changes just have to happen in a single config file (IP/hostname, services, port numbers, HDD names, etc.) and then the rest of the files would just pull off those variables. All the current iterations seem to involve heavy user tweaking across various files, and I can't seem to get it to work.

Just for reference, below are the four github projects I've found on it. I figure step one of an Emby conversion is figuring out which one would be the best "base" for an Emby version of this thing. Thoughts?

Something like this http://htpc.io/ ?

Maybe it's posible to port Emby to this to https://github.com/Hellowlol/HTPC-Manager

I actually looked into that, but wasn't a huge fan of it. And I also noted the lack of Emby module. It looks like Emby module support was requested ~14 months ago, but he said it was not in the plans. I added my voice to the request, so I guess we'll see if he reconsiders.

What I ended up going with for now is Muximux, which I actually really like:

https://github.com/mescon/Muximux

It allows you to just have separate tabs for all your services, and just uses each service's default layout for it's tab. I have it linked to Emby, Sonarr, CouchPotato, and Deluge and it's been working great.

I then also was able to get a stripped down version of the above Network-Status-Page project working. (All it shows is the bottom left "services" box with the green and orange indicators.) Then I linked that stripped-down page into Muximux as a 'status' tab. I was just hoping to find a way to get the rest of the Network-Status-Page content to work on Windows, so that I could have a fully fledged status tab inside Muximux.

chef

Have you looked at Rainmeter before. It shows CPU temps, network info and it I have ported a simple skin which shows playback status of different clients from emby.

I actually recently got into tinkering with rainmeter. I've been playing around with Taurec's skin. Is that the one you're talking about? If you have something different, would you be willing to post your .rmskin file? Thanks!

Would you be able to provide further info on what you use that works with Emby? Thanks!

Edit: I believe my work PC is blocking pictures from posts, so if you had any in your previous post, I'll be able to see them when I get home tonight.

doesnt really integrate with emby. the emby title you see on my server monitor is just a link to my external emby address which opens it in a new window.

however the plex option basically displays all my plex stuff inside of server monitor, new releases etc, watch trailers from there. i dont really use plex so never use this option.
