I recently removed my music albums section, and cleaned both sections in Emby and Kodi, but when kodi runs sync at startup it still scans like albums and songs are
available but there is nothing in that section? Its been removed, and also i took screenshot of some strange characters that show up during music sync, can anybody tell me what they are and how to get rid of. Thats reason i removed music albums, when these characters show it kept hanging on sync and would not show albums correctly.

Do you have music content with special characters? I do, and it's normal to display weird if the font selected in the skin is not unicode safe (kodi settings > appearance > font > arial.ttf is unicode safe). Emby for Kodi queries the server in real time. If it can find albums and songs, it means they are still on your server when we request for them. Can you please provide your Kodi: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/17599-how-to-report-a-problem/

Angelblue05, sorry it took so long the kodi log uploader kept giving me error and plus i never got email with link for log. So i put it on pastebin.     http://pastebin.com/QLnnn8Aw

And i don't have a music library set up,but its still keeps scanning songs,do i need to delete my music.db in kodi?

I am looking into it thanks for reporting.

I will have to review this... The only way to resolve this is to enable music, then do a reset of your database. You can erase your emby info so it resets the add-on settings to default (and ask you to disable music at start up)

Let me know how it goes. Improvements will be done in this area in the near future.

Hmm, we do not use soundcloud. Are you certain it says emby network settings? Maybe post your log from that time?

Edit: Seems @@marcelveldt music utility does use soundcloud. We will review, thanks for reporting!
