trumee 0
Hello I have emby 2.7.29 running on Android LP 6.0.1. The server is running version 3.0.6000 on a FreeBSD server and mono-4.2.3.4. Whenever I stop and exit a stream on Android, the stream on the server continues to work and doesnt kill itself. If i use a browser on a desktop, the stream gets killed correctly. Thanks
Luke 36887
Hi, welcome. This isn't normal. I will test this. In addition, can you provide server logs to demonstrate this? http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/ Thanks! trumee 0
Here is the log file of session which didnot end even when the Mobile app was closed. 'ps -aux' shows that emby_server is not running, but the ffmpeg session is still running at 100% CPU. server-63605347200.txt transcode-6559473f-5de4-4e21-a9aa-3c4cd1fff642.txt Edited July 29, 2016 by trumee

Luke 36887
Hi, there is a new server update, would you mind trying with the latest release? Unforutnately I don't see anything abnormal in your logs and can't reproduce it myself. Thanks.
trumee 0
I am continuing to see this. My android phone runs openvpn to connect to the home network. I guess emby server has issue with openvpn.
Luke 36887
With the latest version of emby server, over the client video player disconnects the transcoding will stop within 30 seconds, usually much need than that.
trumee 0
I am running emby-server-3.0.6020 and mono-4.2.3.4. Is that '30s disconnect' feature in this package?
Luke 36887
Yes. I wonder if the vpn is keeping the connection open even though the app is closing it. If that's the case then that could explain this.
