Duplicate Ability to Recommend Movies and Shows to other users on the server

I think it would be cool to be able to recommend shows or movies to the other users on the server, and then have a category called "Recommend Movies" and "Recommended Shows" and it would say which user recommended it.

There is an API endpoint for notifications. There is the ability to send a message through notifications to users.

 

Could this request be built as a plugin? Or do you guys have plans for something like this?

This has to be in the core. Even if you add a plugin to send data somewhere, the real work is in the UI and has to be done individually in every single app.
