Sync ic failing

Hello,

I recently subscribed to premiere, and have downloaded the folder sync plugin. I am running emby 3.1.30.

When I try to sync Big Hero 6 (Blu-ray) and sync it to my customer folder (C:/Users/Public/Public Videos/Media).

It says "sync created".

I go to sync and it simply says failed, no explanation or reasoning.

I am able to find a transcode log but it doesn't mention anything either.

Any ideas?

Im just trying to convert my 25.6gb .mkv to a smaller .m4v.

No, that's not it. If you can't find it you might need to try repeating the test. thanks.

Thank you much :). Your so much more helpful than the people at plex. I will cancel my plex account and continue with emby :).

Hmm. I just noticed something. Don't know if it will help or not. I currently have my media in C:/Users/Public/Public Videos/Media (and then tv or movie).

I just double checked and now there is TWO public videos folders. I don't get how, because I set the path to be the same. One contains what SHOULD be the converted folder, and the other one emby made a separate public videos/converted and the failed conversions are in that folder. While the proper one is empty.

I don't get why. Everything is named, and spelt exactly the same way.

make sure there isn't a typo in the path that you're not seeing at first glace, or an extra space somewhere.

For whatever reason. Explorer shows two public videos. However CMD lists MY public videos as videos. Emby, plex and handbrake see;

C:/Users/Public/Public Videos/test.

However cmd lists it as C:/Users/Public/Videos/test.

**EDIT*

It turns out that Windows 10 does some nasty alias formats for public folders.

c:\Users\Public>dir

Volume in drive C is Windows

 Volume Serial Number is C892-9181

 Directory of c:\Users\Public

2016-06-19  11:17 PM    <DIR>          .

2016-06-19  11:17 PM    <DIR>          ..

2016-06-09  07:19 PM    <DIR>          Documents

2016-01-15  07:03 AM    <DIR>          Downloads

2016-01-15  07:03 AM    <DIR>          Music

2016-01-15  07:03 AM    <DIR>          Pictures

2016-06-19  11:17 PM    <DIR>          Public Videos

2016-06-19  11:13 PM    <DIR>          Video

2016-06-05  08:50 PM    <DIR>          Videos

               0 File(s)              0 bytes

               9 Dir(s)  1,011,995,164,672 bytes free

All this time emby and plex via .net have been seeing C:/Users/Public/Public Videos but in reality it is

C:/Users/Public/Videos.

I will have to move my librarys to fix this Windows 10 "its not a bug its a feature" bs.

I have moved my folder. Sync still fails. But everything shows up in the proper folder now.

So I guess this case is closed until the update.

Thanks again :).
