all4dom 73
I just added a new tv show and decided to see how it was to keep the subtitles and in MB Classic, is there any way to turn them on and off? With MB Classic, they always stay on and in MBT they do not appear. I was thinking of keeping the subtitles (or CC) with all future shows and movies, but am not surer if they can't be turned off. I am using LAV filters and I noticed there is a way to disable them, but I was hoping for an option similar to WMC when a show is muted, the subtitles (or CC) appear. Thanks Dominick
all4dom 73
Well seems like subtitles work only in VLC player, but not in MB Classic & I read MBT will have that function soon.
jayTcold 8
Hi, Checkout Assassin's guides to subtitle rendering and turning subs on/off while your playing back media: http://assassinhtpcblog.com/wmcandmbsetup/#guide101 The two pieces of software referenced are DirectVobSub and MCERemotePlus. DirectVobSub is kinda the de facto subtitle renderer and is included with most of the codec packs (Shark's, CCCP, K-Lite etc) and players (VLC, MPC-HC etc.). It can also be installed manually (in which Assassin's guide walks you through doing). Using MCERemotePlus, you can easily turn your subs on and off at will. Let us know how things go for you! Koleckai Silvestri 1150
For Media Browser Theater, do you have your languages set in Lav Splitter? That is how I got subtitles to work. Edited January 14, 2014 by Wayne Luke

all4dom 73
I have not tried anything with mbt. Was looking to try this with mbc.
yardameus 219
MBT already has that function for subtitles, but I believe only internal subs work right now.
Deihmos 147
I think media control is by far the best option for subtitles if using MBC and gives the ability to ff, rewind, and chapters support for mkv. Do you get chapter support when using lav filters?
