rmarcuse 4 Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 (edited) I just wanted to mention that access to emby connect and emby theater is very good fom the PS4 web browser. I haven't heard anyone talk about this (unless I missed it) but I thought it was worthy of mentioning. Also I didn't notice it mentioned on the web site that you can access your server via PS4 web browser. Edited June 16, 2016 by rmarcuse
Luke 38875 Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Thanks! I just need to test it personally and then we'll get an announcement up.
rmarcuse 4 Posted June 17, 2016 Author Posted June 17, 2016 Also Luke have you heard of the poprism web browser? it is a open source browser for the Roku. It could grant roku users access to emby theater and emby connect very easily if the don't want to use the emby app. It is in the early stages of development.
Luke 38875 Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 Good tip, thanks ! It describes itself as a text-based browser so i'm not sure how that would work out It does look like it has a goal though of eventually being a full featured browser. Still though, I think for Roku the stock SDK's are the best way to go.
