Consolidated List Bugs, Features Requests - Uwp

Hi All

 

7 asked me to work on a consolidated List of bugs and feature requests. I will try and pull stuff from the main thread and keep it in this single post, so everyone can look just one place.  Please continue to post in the UWP Testers Thread.

Thought I would start with 3 categories adding more as needed.

 

 

Playback

1. MKV Transcoding unreliable.........................................Fixed
2. Black Screen from back button on playback screen.....Fixed
3. Pause button............Fixed

 

 

 

UI

1. Overlay Labels are difficult to read and image size dependent. Maybe treat as in existing app. Fixed Music and Home Videos
2. Contrast color (bright white?) for horizontal selected menu items is not distinctive (brighter? or green perhaps)
3. Watched Check mark not showing in episode view (TV) Show -> Season XYX - Episodes Fixed
4. Add version Number.......Fixed
5. Use thumbnails for Next Up TV.... Fixed

 

Sorting

1. the latest section of television
2. Music artists

 

 

 

Functionality

1. Music screens loading time Long.
2. Multiple movie library - navigation state bleeds across libraries. Need refresh.
3. Album Artists doesn't load at all.
4. Back buttons missing in Music Video and Home Movies areas.
5. Remote/ keyboard functionality enhancements.
