Is there a way to set the Emby tray icon to open "https://localhost:8920"by default instead of "http://localhost:8920/"?

I have enabled HTTPS for Emby already.

Right but what is the point of using encryption to communicate with the same machine?

Security is always important even on the same machine. When I'm logging in to anything should always be over HTTPS.

meh, I'll just use a bookmark.

Well I guess the question is do you understand what the benefits of HTTPS are or do you just want this because you want "security"?
