Hi @@rbeier1221

Thanks for the screenshot. I realise now that I started programming the guide in the spring when our clocks here in the UK were equal to universal time (GMT). Now I look at it again mine is an hour out. I clearly have more work to do!

Sure thing! I am no programmer, but I make one hell of a BETA tester. I will keep my eyes open for the next version.

CBers,i tried the fix. And guess what? Still doing same thing

Same here.

I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but it just takes forever to go to the home screen.

@@cmcg - any timescale on the next beta please?

When cinema mode is enabled a movie will fail to start, it just sits saying loading, you can still navigate around in this state. As soon as I disabled cinema mode in settings it plays straight away.

Just tried on my HTS and TV and CM works just fine on both.  Played two trailers and then started movie on both devices.

Definitely not working for me. This is the log from the TV when hitting play on a movie with Cinema mode enabled.

578a2b63a60df_WIN_20160716_13_39_49_Pro.

the trailer never actually starts, just says loading in the top right and nothing else appears in the TV log.

To play anything I have to exit out of the app.

This is the server log from the moment of hitting play on a movie (at another attempt). I'm on the stable version of the server.

Also, the app won't launch without an internet connection. I was having internet access issues last weekend and when I came to start the app it stated I had no network access. My internal network was working fine and my server was accessible, it's just that I didn't have external internet access.

Could it be the way CM is configured?

Here are my server settings

Also, I don't have an local trailers in the media folders (even though it's checked in my server settings).  I'm just running the Trailers plug-in so all my trailers are coming from wherever those are stored.  Just looking at your tv log it looks like it's a trailer of yours maybe?

I believe that's a Samsung thing and all hub apps require Internet access.  My tv won't even start the hub without Internet

That's correct. You have to have Internet access. The TV accesses remote Samsung sites for simple things like the time/date. That why we sometimes get that problem with the clock saying 0:00.

Also, noticed your trailer is 720p?  Will it play trailers that are lower?  The ones downloaded by the plug-in are all pretty small

@@FrostByte my server settings are exactly the same as yours. I download all my trailers from YouTube (don't tell anyone ) at 720p resolution and store them in a trailers folder within each movie folder. I don't use the trailers plugin.

Thanks for the info about the internet connection, bit of a pain, means can't watch anything while my internet is down.

Back to having problems again, this time when i'm watching movie i not able to pause or stop movie. Its like my remote stops working. But remote works fine, and only way i can exit movie is to unplug tv.

Any ideas what might be the problem? i'm using most current beta on UN40H5203,i'm starting to think it might be a problem with the TV.

I've just tried cinema mode on a TV that is still running the stable release and get the same loading issue. Maybe a server update has caused this, I'm running the stable release of the server.

Do you have a link to a file that is causing problems which I can download?  I'm on beta and can test it to see if maybe something fixed it in the latest beta.

Edit: Luke did mention the app is using some old APIs, maybe there was a change on the server end like you said

With server 3.0.6000 the next up home view has broken. When click on any of the listed next up items it doesn't open that episode and seems to just refresh the page.

Here is the log from when trying to open a next up item.

5794c46791777_WIN_20160724_14_31_22_Pro.

Edit: it turns out you can't get to an individual episode detail screen from any point in the app. You can hit play on the highlighted episode on the next up home view or season episode list to play an episode as a workaround.

I had this problem yesterday getting to episode screens after a fresh build with the Beta release.  Log file looked almost identical.  After a few library scans it resolved itself.  Can you restart the server and force a few library scans, then try again please?

Spot on. I restarted the server and ran a manual library scan and it's now working again.
