using built in emby tv.. with SD guide.. with HDHR Prime tuner...

here are my settings PRIOR to this recording and PRIOR to a server restart.

here are the files created by a couple mins of recording a game show as a test...

expectation is that if that metadata setting (which btw only refers to "movies" not anything else..)   is off... then none of this info/images etc should pull...so WHY does it pull...

i want a vanilla presentation of a simple filename based on guide data only.. and little files to provide a season folder.. series folder.. images... none of that is wanted/asked for in this case..

hey cb.. nope.. see my tv settings above.. im using nothing really.. same symptom is confirmed with or without the "convert to friendly/mp4" option.. so either way these extra files and extra structure is being created

adding additional link for that server settings page in OP

I auto-organize anything recorded, but can stop that if you need me to confirm, although it looks like @@BAS is seeing the same.

Yep smith and I test privately a lot of bugs/things we see, so that way we have double confirmation of it when we post something.

There are currently no settings for this. The setting you're referring to is obsolete now with the advent of the new recording handling, and even before it was only applicable for movies anyway. So now it just goes by your normal metadata settings. To customize metadata settings per library, locate the feature request topic related to that and throw your weight in there.

Thanks for the explanation I'll try to find that thread.

Post the link here if you find it @@BAS.
