mellomade 140 Posted May 18, 2016 Share Posted May 18, 2016 In an effort to reduce server load while playing back recordings from Emby using the HDHR EXTEND device I have set my hardware to the 'heavy' transcode profile. This works as expected however the native recordings are 1080i - thus interlaced. Emby detects this video as AVC and does not attempt to transcode - which is great (and the idea) however the default Apple player does not appear to deinterlace on the fly. Is this possible?
