kermitfrog123 0
Ok so I have switched from Plex to emby after hearing good things. I have emby working fine on my NOW TV box but not on my fire TV Stick. Looking at the log I am getting an issue when trying to transcode anything using the fire stick. The logs last line says No such file or directory. But the file does exist as it plays perfectly through emby on the now tv box. Luke 36999
Does that file exist? it's possible that for whatever reason the ffmpeg process just doesn't have access to it.

ebr 14902
The Now TV app may be direct streaming it whereas the FTV stick needs to transcode. Therefore, ffmpeg wouldn't be involved on the now tv and Luke's suggestion is still a possibility.
Luke 36999
Is the path in the transcode log correct?
kermitfrog123 0
It is on a NAS drive. Would this make a difference? Should i try adding a library local to the server not on the nas and see if that works?
ebr 14902
Is the path in the transcode log correct? It is on a NAS drive. Would this make a difference? Doesn't look like a valid network reference to me. Is your server running on Linux?

ebr 14902
No its a mac. Same thing . There is no machine name on the file reference but I'm not familiar with Mac network paths so I'm not sure what exactly it should look like.
kermitfrog123 0
Im pretty sure the file path is correct as it plays on the now tv box. Ill try a file tonight in a local folder not the nas.
