DParsons 4
I would like to submit a feature request for Emby with NextPVR as the live TV add-on. NextPVR has a conflict resolution feature where any program that has a scheduling conflict is stored with the option to resolve the conflict by choosing which program to record, similar to windows media centers conflict resolution options. This would be a very useful feature to access remotely from Emby.
rbeier1221 2
I would like to see this as well. So far it seems only the NextPVR client can do this so hopefully it is not a restriction.
Sven 136
And how do you see this? If you are not available. What should be recorded?
DParsons 4
Hello Sven. You can only see the resolution option when looking at the recorded programs in NextPVR; however the Recordings option on Emby Live TV does show the 'status' of the scheduled recording when you choose edit from the drop down menu of the recording. So it is partially there in Emby already you just can't currently choose a resolution between which ever programs are causing a recording to show as conflicted on this same menu. Ideally a recording priority ranking system as with MSMedia Center would be preferred so that the resolution could be mapped out ahead of time then that would stop this from ever happening, but that is most likely an issue with the PVR back end and not something Emby could control. But the basic conflict resolution is built into NextPVR already and Emby does alert you that a show is in conflict so if the option to pick the program to record were there that would be a beneficial option to have. Currently if you do not check this occasionally you would never notice that a program is in conflict and the program will just not record, that is while checking conflicted programs in NextPVR only. It will probably not fit in the current liveTV model in Emby. So that needs to be checked with @@Luke Then we can maybe try to get something working.
pünktchen 1241
I already suggested different icons for different timer states some month ago, so we don't need to go into the detailes screen. But it was not accapted.
