JMGNYC 10 Posted April 17, 2016 Share Posted April 17, 2016 I am sure someone has got Emby Theater to work but I've tried everything I can find in these forums and for me it is completely unusable. I have 2 basic problems. I'm on Win 7 and Aero is enabled. 1. Using the built in player I get no video, just audio. I have to alt-tab to the desktop then alt-tabbing back to the video to be able to see it. Of course then none of the controls work. Alt-tabbing never gets the controls back so I have to actually click on the little icon for whatever it is in the taskbar to get the controls back. Of course then there's no video again. 2. Using MPC-HC as an external player brings up the player fine but then Emby decides to push itself on top of the z order after a second or two so we're back to no video as it's only playing in the background.
