Xbox 360 controller support

I like using gamebrowser with media browswer theater, one thing I miss though after leaving xbmc is 360 controller support. When browsing games i am switching back between remote, and then controller.

I labeled this as a feature request unless their is some way a 360 controller can navigate media browser theater, but if not im sure alot of people would appreciate being able to control media browser theater out of the box with a 360 controller like xbmc can.

Xpadder is a great app that can remap your controllers functions. You can set it to have different profiles that load automatically depending on what program is running in the foreground.

Yea using xpadder right now, set it up the other night. Wasnt easy with 4 controllers, and I still think its nice xbmc has built in 360 controller support, I know belief on here is its a niche product, but on xbmc forum anyway, alot of general users who would not even understand or get how to add profiles to xpadder (I know some of these people personally). I know two of these people who use xbmc without even gaming and the remote they love to use is the actual xbox 360 controller.

But if libreto and integrated games finds it way into mbt im not sure how it will work. Unless we can map buttons in mbt for integrated game systems. I have B mapped to backspace with a profile set up so B only sends backspace when MBT is open. If integrated games finds its way into MBT like luke mentioned awhile back I hope that does not effect my controller or how it will operate. BUt if built in games is in the pipeline i think easy built in friendly xbox 360 controller support becomes even more important.

The big reason i actually switched from xbmc to mb3 was simplicity, i found everything was simplified and less complex, especially the gaming setup aspect, so I was disappointed when  re-configuring with a 3rd party program was required. Just my opinion. I wish i knew how to do it, I know luke could use a hand with mbt, or if i knew and could email someone who could maybe help with this, but i dont. I am trying to help the MB3 program where I can though.

Dont know if these links would help.

Oh I would love this but I would also like to see native support for the Steam controller coming out this year. My last install I used xpadder too but look at a more simplified build this time round so just pickup remote again.

Ideally I would like to eliminate remote all together. Game controllers have enough buttons IMO for a MC.

Hope it is on the cards  ^_^

I am also planning to buy a steam controller as well, i would love to see native support for both, but i dont know how difficult steam controller integration will be since its not released. Those would be the two I would really like to see.

How did you get GameBrowser to show up in MBT? I can't for the life of me get it to show up.

Follow the guide here http://mediabrowser.tv/community/index.php?/topic/2720-gamebrowser-3-plugin/?hl=%2Bgamebrowser+%2Bsetup

Once its setup correctly the games tab will appear in MBT, then you just have to setup the external launchers
