Switching user

Hi all,

fisrt of all tnx for ATV4 version.

 

I've got a server with 3 users.

How is it possible to switch between users.

I always login with a user and cannot understand how to login with another user.

When you're on the "Home Screen" there is a button in the top right that you can select. It will either have the picture of your user or a "person avatar" so it should be identifiable.

 

When you select that button you'll be presented with a list of options one of them being "Switch User."

Tnx for your answer, but i haven't got switch user option.

The only option i have is switch server.

I'm curious did you use Emby Connect to login to this server?

I suppose so.

i went here http://emby.media/pin.html and type pin i saw on tv.

Thanks for confirming. I'll defer to @@ebr for this as I don't know why we conditionally display the Switch User dialog for Emby Connect based connections.

You cannot switch users when using Emby Connect because that is tied to a specific user for each server (there is no prompt for user or pw when using Connect).

 

If you need to use multiple users on a remote server, you'll need to connect to that server with its remote address and then you can select users and switch between them as normal.
