treason 11
So I've been trying to figure out why my channel guide in pseudo tv is sometimes out of sync. I finally pulled to debug logs that seemed relevant. I clicked "Grumpy Old Men" in the guide, but Tommy Boy played instead. 20:13:23 T:140300030813952 NOTICE: EMBY PlaybackUtils -> Play called. 20:13:23 T:140300030813952 NOTICE: EMBY PlayUtils -> Verifying path: smb://SERVER/Classics/Grumpy Old Men (1993)/Grumpy Old Men (1993).mkv 20:13:23 T:140300030813952 NOTICE: EMBY PlayUtils -> Path exists. 20:13:23 T:140300030813952 NOTICE: EMBY PlayUtils -> File is direct playing. 20:13:23 T:140300030813952 NOTICE: EMBY PlaybackUtils -> Setting up properties in playlist. 20:13:23 T:140300030813952 DEBUG: CAnnouncementManager - Announcement: OnAdd from xbmc 20:13:23 T:140300030813952 DEBUG: GOT ANNOUNCEMENT, type: 2, from xbmc, message OnAdd 20:13:23 T:140301596616576 DEBUG: CAnnouncementManager - Announcement: OnRemove from xbmc 20:13:23 T:140301596616576 DEBUG: GOT ANNOUNCEMENT, type: 2, from xbmc, message OnRemove 20:13:23 T:140301309810432 NOTICE: EMBY KodiMonitor -> Method: Playlist.OnRemove Data: {"playlistid":1,"position":1} 20:13:23 T:140301596616576 DEBUG: CAnnouncementManager - Announcement: OnAdd from xbmc 20:13:23 T:140301596616576 DEBUG: GOT ANNOUNCEMENT, type: 2, from xbmc, message OnAdd 20:13:23 T:140300030813952 NOTICE: EMBY PlaybackUtils -> Processed as a playlist. Any idea why the playlist created by pseudo tv is unplayable? Thanks for the help
Angelblue05 4130
For maximum compatibility with other Kodi add-ons, you should use Native playback mode. You will need to reset your local database and let your content resync, but it should behave correctly with pseudo tv.
treason 11
Ok, so I just checked the settings and it says "Playback Mode, Native(Direct paths)" Is this what you are referring to? If so, it seems like I already have this enabled. Is pseudotv somehow not using direct paths even though it's setup that way in emby? Is this even possible? Angelblue05 4130
Yes that is the correct setting. If it's already set, then it looks like you didn't reset your database after changing the setting because it's definitively calling plugin paths still. If you reset and it's still using plugin paths, let me know. Edited March 28, 2016 by Angelblue05
