When I go into Emby on my Roku now, the cover thumbnails in each section, movies and tv are distorted, stretched. Through the web everything looks fine. It was looking ok previously, so not sure what happened. Via web server Profile>Settings>Homescreen settings> View style is NOT enabled. speechles 1917 Posted February 17, 2016 Share Posted February 17, 2016 Can you provide a photo to show what you mean? Which roku app are you using? Stable, Beta, or BlueNeon? Are you using the TV and Movie library choices which gives you enhanced presentation, or are you using the "folder" row to choose? Murf 3 Posted February 18, 2016 Author Share Posted February 18, 2016 Using stable roku app. I do not think there is any enhanced presentation, I open the app in my roku and the first row is movies, 2nd row is tv shows. I can take a pic of the tv later on and post it. instead of regular aspect, the title art for each show/movie just seems, squished, I guess. Like the resolution or aspect is off or something. Murf 3 Posted February 22, 2016 Author Share Posted February 22, 2016 Went into emby app on roku, saw the screen above , (emby app now takes me on the options section when I go first open it, instead of the 1st category like it used to). but the * button does not do anything. Also tried going up to the movie or tv category and pressing *. Tried going into a show and pressing * and just got 'cast and crew' and 'close'. Happy2Play 8281 Posted February 22, 2016 Share Posted February 22, 2016 (edited) This is easily reproducible, just turn off View Styles as other linked post stated. The issue is the Main menu (Home screen) of the Roku displays Thumbs so all poster images in Folder view get squashed into an thumb display. There is no library display options via folder view (View Style unchecked). Since library view is being presented on home screen instead of library folder. Options are only available via library folder. If Roku gave Library folder entry on Home screen this would probably work properly, instead of displaying library on Home Screen. When I choose the emby app, it loads it up, giving me the 'retrievin' message and then puts the cursor focus on the Options section. I never had view styles on, When researching this issue I saw the post mentioned above, so I went into server settings, enabled view styles. saved it, then went right back in and disabled them, and saved it. Never went to the app in between, I did not want the styles on. So I did not check ti when I enabled it, I just enabled in the settings, saved, then put it back to disabled and saved.
